Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver

Job Overview As a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver, you’ll help clients travel safely and comfortably to appointments and other destinations. You’ll operate a passenger van, follow assigned local routes, and communicate clearly with clients and dispatch. Your impact: Safe, dependable rides help clients reach care and maintain greater independence. Duties Pick up and transport clients, assisting with boarding and exiting as needed. Use GPS navigation to follow routes and communicate delays or changes. Provide courteous customer service and clear client communication throughout each trip. Follow traffic laws and applicable state transportation regulations. Inspect and maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance needs; assist with manual handling or heavy lifting when required by the role. Qualifications Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record; ability to follow traffic regulations and applicable state requirements. Strong communication skills, reliability, and a customer-focused approach. Experience driving passenger vehicles, vans, or shuttle routes is helpful; medical transportation experience is preferred. Related experience in delivery driving, bus driving, chauffeur or limousine service, or personal vehicle delivery is also useful. Able to assist passengers and handle physical tasks safely, with or without reasonable accommodation. Work Location: In person
