Non-Commercial Driver's License Tow Truck Driver

NON-CDL Tow Truck Drivers Reports to: Operations Manager. Chesapeake, VA. Job Description: Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, this full-time position will be responsible for handling daily dispatched wrecker calls. This highly motivated, self-sufficient operator is expected to be a “walking example” of the organized professional operation that Skimino/TEI strives to be. The ideal candidate will be highly adaptive to changing environments, schedules, and applicable regulations. Pay is commensurate with experience. Requirements: Must have or be able to obtain DAD/Towing license No automatic restrictions Have medical examiners certification Clean MVR Must have at least 1 year of experience as a towing operator of rollback trucks Must be fluent in the English language Must have and keep current a USA issued driver's license Must have excellent customer etiquette and communication skills Have the ability and desire to form close working relationships with other team members Clean, manage, and maintain tools and vehicles which are assigned Perform duties during assigned hours/shifts Have a willingness to travel out of the area, and sometimes out of town, at any time of the day or day of the week as necessary Be receptive to on and off-site training with exceptional results Must be willing to learn and perform a diverse array of other assigned duties Must pass a criminal history check Must pass pre-employment and subsequent random drug/alcohol screenings Benefits: Medical, Dental and Vision insurance coverage Medical insurance paid 100% by Skimino at 5 year work anniversary Life insurance policy Simple IRA with TEI matching contribution PTO, Holiday, and Bereavement pay Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply License/Certification: and clean Driver's License (Required) Towing License (Required) Shift availability: Overnight Shift (Preferred) Night Shift (Preferred) Day Shift (Preferred) Work Location: In person
