Local Truck Driver New Facility Opening in Harrisburg, PA Location: 711 Gibson Blvd, Harrisburg, PA 17104 Pay Rate: $23 - $25 per hour FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Schedule: Monday through Friday; 7:00am to 3:30pm Join Our Growing Team CJ Pony Parts is excited to expand our operations with a new facility located at 711 Gibson Blvd, Harrisburg, PA 17104 . We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Local Truck Driver to support daily transportation to and from our 7461 Allentown Blvd location, as well as general warehouse tasks as needed. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of driving and hands-on warehouse work. The Local Truck Driver plays a critical role in transporting inventory between facilities, ensuring accurate deliveries, and supporting efficient warehouse operations. What You'll Do Safely operate a company air brake-equipped box truck to transport inventory between warehouse locations and storage facilities. Follow all traffic laws, company safety policies, and safe driving practices. Load, unload, secure, and transport products safely and efficiently. Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns. Maintain delivery records, trip logs, time sheets, and receipts. Communicate effectively with operations leadership regarding schedules, delays, and transportation issues. Assist with warehouse operations, including inventory organization, cycle counts, assembly work, and picking and packing orders. Safely operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and hand trucks. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, workspace, and warehouse environment. Qualifications Required Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License (Class C) Clean driving record and demonstrated commitment to safe driving Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Preferred High school diploma or GED 1-2 years of delivery, box truck, or commercial driving experience Experience operating air brake-equipped vehicles Warehouse experience Familiarity with the Harrisburg area and local traffic patterns Defensive driving training or certification PhysicalWork Environment This position requires a combination of driving and warehouse work. Team members regularly stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, climb, and lift materials throughout the day. Employees work both indoors and outdoors and may be exposed to changing temperatures, vehicle traffic, loading dock activity, and moderate warehouse noise.
