Non CDL Truck Driver (Over The Road ONLY)

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service Over the road. This role requires a commitment to safety, a high level communication, critical thinking skills, punctuality, and professionalism on the road. Pay Range 18-20% gross weekly profit + weekly BONUSES Responsibilities OTR experience (at least 1 year/no exception) Operate a variety of vehicles including box trucks and vans for deliveries Obtain required documents at shipper docks upon arrival and delivery Experience with the use E-track and ratchet straps Experience with loading and unloading freight using pallet jacks Ensuring all cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety standards are met Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving company vehicle Knowledge about truck maintenance Assist in moving goods within the warehouse or distribution center IF needed Have a valid and active DOT medical card Having a TWIC/TSA card Knowledge on refueling DIESEL into duel tank trucks Ability to work independently on the road Efficient route planning experience Ability to drive a 26ft truck while fully loaded (will be tested at 2nd interview) we do not provide hotel stays or accommodations. Only pays for tolls, parking, fuel & def. (Must have otr experience of sleeping on padded truck bench) Drivers can purchase their own hotel stays. Requirements Valid driver’s license ; must be 21 years of age and have a clean driving record in the past 24 months Be on the road 2-3 weeks at a time (no exceptions) Ability to drive a loaded 26 footer Ability to drive 10 hours daily Ability to properly organize pallets in cargo bay of truck efficiently to maximize space of cargo Experience as a Over The Road delivery driver Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading freight Moving goods within the warehouse or distribution center IF needed Familiarity with operating pallet jacks, truck ladder and tuck in liftgate Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules Routine communication of delivery status with company assigned broker Knowledge and experience using an ELD properly Experience running under ELD Join our team today and contribute to our mission of delivering high quality service while ensuring safe transport of goods nationwide!
