Non-CDL Truck Driver

We are currently hiring a Non-CDL Truck Driver (also known as Box Truck Driver, Local Delivery Driver, or Straight Truck Driver) to drive a small truck to transport cargo to and from destinations within the immediate local area. Non-CDL Truck Driver - LOCAL - HOME DAILY - OVER-TIME AVAILABLE Position: Non-CDL Truck Driver 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday Pay: starting at $$20.13 Hours: 40-50 hours per week Overtime: 40-50 hours per week Pay Schedule: Weekly paycheck (every Thursday) Duties And Responsibilities Inspects the truck pre- and post-trip. Accurately complete vehicle inspection sheets, fuel consumption logs, daily log sheets, bills of lading, vehicle trip records, and expense reports. Ensures all cargo is loaded, checked, and safely secured during transit. Assists with or oversees loading and unloading of cargo to ensure secure transit. Acquires all proper signatures on shipping/receiving documents. Monitors the maintenance and repair of the truck. Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally and representing them company positively. Responsible for following all Federal and State DOT regulations as well as warehouse safety regulations. Other duties as assigned. Required Skills And Experience 1+ years recent commercial delivery-driving experience or willing to complete a company driving training program Valid state-issued driver’s license, with a clean driving record. Capacity to demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and dependability. Good hand-eye coordination. Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Skills And Experience Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus Strong commitment to customer service Educational Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred Physical Demands and Working Conditions The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs., if necessary Flexible early morning shifts Comfortable sitting for extended periods You will love working in our family-oriented company!
