Non- CDL OTR Box Truck Driver- Home Weekly

Overview As a Non-CDL OTR Box Truck Driver, you’ll deliver products safely and reliably along over-the-road routes, with a weekly home schedule. You’ll combine commercial driving, warehouse coordination, and customer service to keep deliveries moving from pickup through completion. Your impact: Careful driving and accurate delivery help customers receive their orders safely and on time. Duties Drive a box truck on assigned routes, follow traffic regulations, and comply with applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements. Load and unload freight; use a pallet jack and other material handling equipment as appropriate. Apply safe lifting practices when moving heavy items, and follow workplace weight-handling procedures. Use mobile devices to review route details, record delivery progress, and communicate updates. Provide courteous customer service and complete delivery documentation accurately. Experience Delivery driver, courier, van driver, or other delivery driving experience is helpful; commercial truck driving experience is a plus. Familiarity with box trucks, route driving, and personal vehicle delivery is beneficial. Warehouse experience, warehouse operations, and material handling experience are preferred. Ability to perform manual handling and moving tasks, including heavy lifting, safely. A valid driver’s license and ability to operate a manual transmission are required; a commercial driver’s license (CDL) is not required.
