Duties Safely operate a company truck and trailer to deliver goods across designated routes while adhering to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Loading and unloading of cargo will be done by the customer, not the driver; Driver will need to secure all loads (strap, tarp, as needed) Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to verify safety, cleanliness, and proper functioning before each shift Manage delivery documentation accurately using hard copy rate confirmations and bills of lading, along with mobile devices and electronic route management tools (gps, tracking, etc.) Communicate effectively with dispatch team to confirm routes, delivery times, and any adjustments needed during daily operations Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely deliveries, addressing customer inquiries professionally, and representing the company positively Required interstate driving (nationwide) with ability to be away from home most of the time Qualifications Proven experience in delivery driving or courier services, preferably with truck/trailers Valid driver’s license with a CLEAN DRIVING RECORD; non-CDL license required for this role Knowledge of how to strap and/or chain loads to trailer and secure loads is required Strong understanding of DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safe lifting practices in workplace environments Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform manual handling tasks regularly Excellent route driving skills with experience in route planning and time management Customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills and professionalism English language spoken, reading and writing fluency is REQUIRED Join us in delivering excellence every day!
