Non-CDL Hot Shot Owner-Operator – Must Own Truck & Flatbed Trailer

Job Summary T & F Logistics LLC is seeking dependable non-CDL hot shot owner-operators who already own a commercially ready truck and flatbed trailer. A 40-foot gooseneck trailer is strongly preferred. This is an independent-contractor opportunity, not a company-driver position. T & F Logistics LLC does not provide trucks, trailers, fuel cards, fuel discounts, fuel advances, or fuel reimbursement. Compensation Owner-operator receives 80% of net line-haul revenue after the applicable factoring fee Estimated gross settlement range is approximately $3,200-$4,800 per week before insurance deductions and owner operating expenses Loads, mileage, revenue, and weekly settlements are not guaranteed Payment is issued within 48 hours after delivery and receipt of a clear, signed BOL or POD Qualifying Friday deliveries are paid the following Monday or next business day Equipment Requirements Must own or properly lease a truck suitable for non-CDL hot shot operations Must own or properly lease a flatbed trailer A 40-foot flatbed or gooseneck trailer is strongly preferred Truck and trailer must be registered, roadworthy, and available for commercial use Must provide VINs, registrations, ownership or lease documents, GVWR information, axle ratings, tire ratings, and equipment photographs Must have the straps, chains, binders, edge protectors, tarps, flags, and other equipment required to secure freight safely The complete truck-and-trailer configuration must be verified as legally operable for non-CDL transportation Owner-Operator Expenses The owner-operator is responsible for all fuel, DEF, oil, maintenance, repairs, tires, tolls, inspections, registration, taxes, securement equipment, and other routine operating expenses. T & F Logistics LLC does not provide fuel cards, fuel-card discounts, or fuel advances. Applicants must be financially prepared to cover fuel and operating expenses before receiving their first settlement. Operating Area Our freight network includes Texas, Louisiana, the Southeast, Atlanta, Ohio, Chicago, Green Bay, the Great Lakes region, and connecting regional and OTR lanes. Routes vary based on freight demand. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old Must have a current and valid driver’s license Must have or obtain a valid DOT medical certificate Must have an acceptable motor vehicle record Must authorize an MVR and background screening Every driver and power unit must pass insurance underwriting and be approved before hauling Must understand cargo securement, weight ratings, vehicle inspections, hours-of-service rules, and safe commercial operation Must have a reliable smartphone and submit clear BOLs, PODs, photographs, and status updates promptly Previous hot shot, flatbed, towing, or commercial-delivery experience is preferred but not required Schedule Our standard operating cycle is three consecutive weeks available for dispatch followed by one optional week off. At least seven days’ notice is required when requesting the optional week off. Do not apply if you do not already own or properly lease both a suitable truck and flatbed trailer. Applicants who expect T & F Logistics LLC to provide equipment, fuel funding, or startup financing will not qualify. Pay: $3,200.00 - $4,800.00 per week Work Location: On the road
