Non-CDL Garbage Truck Driver/Thrower

Job Overview As a Non-CDL Garbage Truck Driver/Thrower, you’ll help keep communities clean by safely collecting and transporting solid waste. You’ll drive assigned routes, operate garbage trucks, and work outdoors as part of a team. This hands-on role combines driving with frequent lifting and loading. Your impact: Safe, reliable collection helps residents and businesses maintain cleaner, more orderly surroundings. Job Responsibilities Safely operate a non-CDL garbage truck along assigned routes. Collect and load residential and commercial trash. Assist with lifting, carrying, and throwing trash into the truck. Work as part of a team to complete daily routes efficiently. Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures. Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues. Provide courteous and professional service to customers. Maintain a clean and organized truck and work area. Qualifications Must have a valid driver's license and a current, valid DOT medical card. Clean driving record preferred. Ability to safely operate a non-CDL commercial vehicle. Ability to perform physical labor, including frequent lifting, bending, and walking. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious. Previous garbage collection or commercial driving experience is a plus, but not required. Pay: From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
