Responsibilities: Safely load, transport, and deliver furniture to residential customers in the Gretna, LA area Unload and assemble furniture in customers' homes or designated spaces as needed Inspect deliveries for damage before and after transport, documenting any issues Maintain a clean, organized delivery vehicle and perform basic vehicle inspections Communicate professionally with customers regarding delivery windows, instructions, and concerns Follow optimized delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service Collaborate with warehouse and dispatch teams to coordinate daily delivery schedules Requirements: Valid non-CDL driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift and carry heavy furniture items (up to 100+ lbs) with a partner Prior delivery, moving, or logistics experience preferred Strong customer service skills and a professional, friendly demeanor Ability to navigate local routes efficiently using GPS or map tools Punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented with strong time management skills Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment screening About Us: Furniture Mart has been a trusted name in quality home furnishings, serving customers across the region with a wide selection of stylish and affordable pieces.
