Job Summary: Primary responsibility is to drive company vehicles to deliver merchandise to customer jobsites and physically unload the materials to the customer's satisfaction. Help load and unload trucks, put merchandise away, clean up yard. Key Responsibilities: Learn company products, procedures, culture, and customer service philosophy. Accurately pull and stage materials for delivery or customer pickup (will call) according to picking tickets and sales invoices. Load, deliver, and unload materials safely, accurately, and in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction. Perform vehicle inspections to ensure safe operating conditions. Operate forklifts safely and properly in accordance with company procedures and safety protocols. Accurately document merchandise returns using credit memos. Organize and put away products in designated bin locations. Build lumber packs accurately and efficiently. Assist customers in the yard and address their needs while providing excellent customer service. Follow all company safety procedures and promote a safe working environment. Work collaboratively with team members to support daily yard operations. Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications: Valid driver's license with a good driving record; CDL is a plus. Ability to safely operate a forklift. Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle. Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds consistently. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling materials and orders. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Self-motivated, dependable, and productive with a willingness to learn and grow professionally.
