Cowboy USA LLCJob Purpose Summary: Responsible for operating a 16' Box Truck or Panel Van while maintaining compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and company policies. Key Responsibilities: · Fully understand how to operate and safely drive commercial vehicles not exceeding 26,000 GVW. · Responsible for proper loading and securing freight to prevent movement and allow safe transport. Assist in loading and loading as required. · Willing to load/unload and assist in operations at the terminal as required. · Maintain accurate records and logs by DOT and company policy. · Perform and document pre-trip inspections, on-the-road inspections, and post-trip inspections. · Maneuver and control the vehicle safely, which includes handling the vehicle on-site and in over-the-road situations, proper signaling, searching for hazards, controlling speed, lane positioning, matching speeds to road conditions, and the ability to drive during the daytime or nighttime. · Knowledge and adherence to Hours-of-Service regulations, maintaining ELD/paper logs to track and report duty hours. · Willing to work stand by hours · Keeping the vehicle's interior and exterior clean and in good condition. · Safely perform job functions to avoid personal injury and equipment damage · Maintaining valid licenses and certifications. · Any additional duties assigned Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Paid training Referral program Vision insurance Work Days: Weekends as needed Experience: Delivery driver: 2 years (Required) Work Location: In person
