• Operate switching equipment, tractors, and straight trucks to transport goods and equipment safely.
• Complete trailer loading and unloading tasks while ensuring proper material handling.
• Organize transportation schedules and sequence activities to maintain operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with warehouse and yard teams to support smooth movement of materials.
• Perform vehicle and equipment inspections before and after trips and communicate any maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow company procedures and regulatory safety requirements during all assigned duties.
Required Skills and Experience of Non-CDL Driver:
• Valid driver’s license with appropriate endorsements required for vehicle operation.
• Previous experience operating tractors, straight trucks, or yard equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of equipment safety practices and proper handling procedures.
• Ability to complete tasks independently and manage time effectively.
• Ability to perform physical duties involving loading, unloading, and transportation activities.
• Strong vehicle operation skills with attention to safety.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for identifying equipment concerns.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with team members.
• Problem-solving skills to manage operational situations.
