Non-CDL Driver

Position Summary We are looking for a dependable and committed Non-CDL Driver to become part of our Richmond, VA operations. You will be instrumental in upholding our commitment to superior service by managing efficient and punctual deliveries. Core Duties Manage company vehicles securely to deliver products to designated sites. Conduct thorough vehicle assessments before and after trips to uphold safety standards and regulatory compliance. Handle the loading and unloading process, making sure all freight is correctly secured to prevent damage. Keep precise logs of all transit activities, such as fuel usage and total mileage. Coordinate seamlessly with dispatch and clients to provide updates on arrival times and resolve potential transit challenges. Help foster a secure environment for all road users by strictly following traffic ordinances. Keep the interior and exterior of the transport vehicle tidy and well-organized. Required Skills and Experience Possession of a current driver's license and a history of safe driving. Prior background in driving or a related logistics position is a plus. Capable of handling physical labor, including the lifting of heavy items. Demonstrated ability to manage your schedule effectively while working without constant supervision. Strong verbal and interpersonal abilities. Knowledge of Richmond, VA area geography and common traffic routes. Must demonstrate a consistent, punctual, and upbeat professional demeanor.
