Non-CDL Box Truck Driver – OTR & Local Routes (CDL a Plus) Company: Genius Express LLC Location: Santa Clarita, CA Job Type: Full-Time Equipment: 26-Foot Box Truck Pay: Discussed during interview Job Description Genius Express LLC is looking for reliable, hardworking, and motivated Box Truck Drivers to join our growing transportation company. We are seeking drivers who are comfortable with Over-the-Road (OTR) deliveries, including staying on the road for 1–3 weeks at a time , depending on available loads and routes. This position will involve a combination of long-distance interstate deliveries and occasional local routes throughout California. A CDL is NOT required, but drivers with a CDL are strongly encouraged to apply. We are looking for someone who takes driving seriously, communicates well, and understands the importance of safe and on-time deliveries. Key Responsibilities Operate a 26-foot box truck safely and professionally. Transport freight on local, regional, and OTR routes. Be available for trips lasting 1–3 weeks. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Properly secure freight to prevent damage during transportation. Handle pickup and delivery paperwork accurately. Maintain communication with dispatch regarding deliveries and schedules. Follow DOT regulations and applicable safety requirements. Maintain cleanliness and proper care of assigned equipment. Qualifications Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. No CDL required; Class A or Class B CDL is a plus. Previous box truck, delivery, or commercial driving experience preferred. Comfortable driving long distances and crossing state lines. Willingness to stay on the road for 1–3 weeks. Ability to navigate using GPS and follow delivery instructions. Dependable, punctual, and professional. Ability to pass applicable driver qualification and safety requirements. What We're Looking For We want a driver who is: Responsible and dependable. Have no safety violations or major driving infractions. Maintain a consistent record of professionalism, reliability, and on-time deliveries.
