Non-CDL Box Truck Driver - Contract

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Non-CDL 26' Box Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and the ability to handle various types of delivery tasks. Position will entail doing local pickups and deliveries to chemical plants throughout Pasadena and the surrounding areas. Routes will span within a 100 mile radius daily. Hours are 7-3 or 8-4 daily. Duties Operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, including pallet jacks. Follow assigned routes and schedules, ensuring timely deliveries. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients and recipients. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Majority local work, out of town runs very little. Home daily ! Skills Proven experience as a truck driver or in a similar delivery role. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools. Ability to operate pallet jacks and other loading equipment safely. Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards. Experience with moving and handling cargo efficiently. Capability to drive manual transmission vehicles when necessary. Attention to detail for maintaining accurate delivery records.
