Duties Safely operate a non-CDL box truck to deliver goods to various locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while following safe lifting practices Verify delivery orders, inspect vehicles before and after trips, and report any maintenance issues promptly Adhere strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws during all driving activities Communicate effectively with dispatch using mobile devices to confirm routes, delivery statuses, and address any issues Provide excellent customer service by ensuring deliveries are handled professionally and courteously Assist with warehouse operations when needed, including material handling, moving items within the warehouse, and supporting warehouse staff with heavy lifting tasks Experience Previous warehouse experience or delivery driver experience preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or van driving is advantageous Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and manual handling techniques is highly desirable Knowledge of route driving, heavy lifting, and safe lifting practices in a warehouse or delivery environment Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks safely and efficiently Strong understanding of adhering to traffic regulations, DOT guidelines, and workplace weight handling standards Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation, communication, and documentation Join us today to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering excellence!
