NON-CDL BOX TRUCK DRIVER

Job Description – Box Truck Driver Position Title: Box Truck Driver Position Summary The Box Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating a company straight box truck to transport materials, products, and equipment. This position includes picking up orders from vendors, delivering products to customers, loading and unloading the truck, and ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately, safely, and on time while providing excellent customer service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safely operate a company straight box truck in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Pick up materials, supplies, and products from vendors. Deliver products to customers in a timely and professional manner. Load and unload the truck while ensuring freight is properly secured to prevent damage during transport. Verify all shipments against packing slips, purchase orders, and delivery paperwork. Obtain customer signatures and maintain accurate delivery records. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns immediately. Keep the truck clean, organized, and properly maintained. Assist with warehouse duties, including receiving, organizing inventory, and preparing customer orders, as needed. Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous customer service at all times. Follow company safety policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (Medical Card) required. Ability to safely operate a straight box truck. Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Good communication and customer service skills. Working Conditions Frequent driving throughout New Jersey and surrounding states. Regular lifting, loading, and unloading of products. Exposure to varying weather conditions while making pickups and deliveries. Occasional overtime may be required based on business needs. Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
