Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Non-CDL 26 ft Box Truck Driver to join our dynamic delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a box truck to deliver goods efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Responsibilities Safely operate a 26-foot box truck, ensuring compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws. Use pallet jack and liftgate. Routes are available on day shift and night shift. Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while following safe lifting practices. Plan and follow optimized delivery routes, utilizing mobile devices for navigation and communication. Deliver goods directly to customers’ locations, providing excellent customer service and addressing any delivery-related inquiries professionally. Assist with warehouse operations by loading, unloading, and organizing inventory as needed. Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries, including delivery logs, manifests, and incident reports. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain safety standards and report any maintenance issues promptly. Skills Proven experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or commercial truck driving with a focus on box trucks or vans. Strong knowledge of manual transmission operation and safe driving practices. Ability to handle heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely in accordance with workplace weight handling standards. Familiarity with route planning, traffic regulations, and DOT compliance requirements. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or moving carts is a plus. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail and safety protocols.
