CDL - A Truck Driver: Regional Dry Van, Solo, Las Vegas, NV ABOUT THE ROLE Join our Regional CDL-A truck driver on the Costco Dry account. We offer steady freight, predictable weekly pay, and a driver leader/planner who works with you on your schedule. WHY THIS POSITION Costco Dry account with a DL/Planner supporting drivers Drop and hook 90% of the time Driver Performance Bonus Trainees welcome PAY Average weekly pay: $1,300 to $1,400 Stop pay: $15.00 for the first stop, $20.00 for each stop after Short haul pay: Same as Regional Driver Performance Bonus available Weekly mileage: 2,000 to 2,200 miles JOB DETAILS Position: Regional, Solo Freight: Drop and hook 90% of the time; also live unload, and preload Route: Las Vegas to Phoenix or St. George then to Southern California or back to Las Vegas Home Time: 34-hour restarts Shift: Both day and night shifts available EQUIPMENT Dry Van trailers Specialized equipment: None REQUIREMENTS Must be at least 21 years old Valid CDL-A license Experience: Trainee or First Seat (experienced) drivers accepted No endorsements required Must live within 80 miles of the Las Vegas, NV hiring area RESPONSIBILITIES Safely operate a CDL-A Dry Van tractor-trailer Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain accurate ELD electronic logs Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding trip progress and layovers HOW TO APPLY We respond to every applicant within 24 hours.
