Night Shift Warehouse Supervisor (Small Parcel Sorting) Location: Houston, TX Shift: Night Shift (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM or as required) Language Requirement: Bilingual – English & Chinese Job Overview We are seeking a strong and experienced Night Shift Warehouse Supervisor to oversee small‐parcel sorting operations, workforce allocation, and forklift coordination during overnight warehouse activities. The ideal candidate must be a reliable team leader with hands-on warehouse experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain efficiency and safety in a fast-paced logistics environment. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead night-shift parcel sorting teams to ensure efficient workflow. Assign and coordinate staff across sorting, scanning, loading, unloading, and staging areas. Oversee forklift operations and ensure operators follow safety procedures at all times. Monitor parcel flow and make real-time adjustments to prevent bottlenecks. Ensure accurate and timely parcel routing and outbound dispatch. Conduct shift briefings and communicate work instructions clearly in English and Chinese. Train new hires on sorting procedures, safety rules, and warehouse standards. Maintain accurate nightly production records and complete shift reports. Enforce OSHA safety standards and company operational policies. Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations; supervisory experience preferred. Experience in parcel sorting, e-commerce warehouse, or distribution center environments is a strong plus. Ability to manage, lead, and motivate teams during night shifts. Knowledge of forklift operations; forklift certification preferred. Strong problem-solving ability and capability to manage fast-changing workflow conditions. Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) required. Ability to work consistent night shift hours.
