Night Shift Supervisor – CDL Required | Trucking & Hauling Operations Company: Campos Consulting Services LLC Location: West Palm Beach, FL Job Type: Full-Time Shift: Overnight / Night Shift Pay: Based on experience Job Description Campos Consulting Services LLC is seeking a reliable, experienced, and hands-on Night Shift Supervisor to oversee trucking and hauling operations at an industrial facility in West Palm Beach, FL. We are looking for a strong leader who can supervise drivers, maintain safe and efficient operations, troubleshoot issues, and step in to operate a truck or cover a driver's shift when necessary. This is a hands-on supervisory position that requires both leadership skills and practical trucking experience. Key Responsibilities Oversee and supervise truck drivers during overnight operations. Monitor hauling activities to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operations. Operate trucks and cover driving shifts when needed due to driver absences, operational demands, or unexpected circumstances. Ensure drivers follow company policies, safety procedures, and facility requirements. Maintain communication with facility personnel and company management. Monitor equipment performance and identify mechanical or operational concerns. Assist with basic troubleshooting and coordinate repairs when necessary. Verify that drivers complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Respond promptly to breakdowns, delays, incidents, and other operational challenges. Track driver attendance, truck downtime, and operational interruptions. Provide accurate nightly reports and communicate important updates to management. Ensure a smooth transition between overnight and daytime operations. Required Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Professional truck driving experience. Experience in trucking, hauling, transportation, or industrial operations. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability and willingness to operate trucks and cover driver shifts as needed. Knowledge of DOT regulations and commercial vehicle safety requirements. Ability to work independently and handle unexpected operational situations. Reliable transportation and availability for overnight shifts. Basic computer and smartphone skills for communication and reporting. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience supervising CDL drivers or trucking operations. Mechanical knowledge or hands-on experience troubleshooting commercial trucks. Experience operating dump trucks. Familiarity with industrial facilities, landfills, or waste management operations. Experience coordinating equipment breakdowns and maintenance needs.
