Basic math and documentation skills Possess basic computer skills (Outlook, Oracle, MS Teams) and the ability to learn production and warehouse systems and processes What this job is all about: The Material Handler – Production Receiving is an entry level position responsible for safe and accurate receipt of finished goods from production lines, while transporting, storing, and recording finished products within the warehouse inventory system. In this job, you’ll do things like: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and palletizer equipment safely Comply with warehouse GMP and food safety requirements Verify lot numbers, labeling, and traceability for all production receipts Handle finished goods to prevent contamination, damage, or mislabeling Execute production receiving transactions accurately in Oracle WMS using RF scanners Receive finished goods under the correct batch with accurate lot, quantity, and location details Perform RF transfers to assigned storage locations Perform Item queries in Oracle to check quantities and locations to confirm accurate transactions Know how to print production schedule to identify order/batch pallet requirements Maintain palletizer infeed per batch‑specific requirements Identify correct pallet type, pattern, and quantity for each batch Install corner boards, slip sheets, and additional packaging supports as required Determine appropriate shrink wrap method based on product and export requirements Transport finished goods from palletizer to shrink wrap and into designated storage locations Participate in cycle counts, recounts, and inventory investigations Assist in root cause analysis for production receiving and inventory discrepancies Maintain transaction discipline to support KPI and performance expectations Other great stuff about this job: You’ll be more than just a number!
