Position Summary GWC Trucking is hiring professional Class A CDL drivers for night-shift FedEx Ground routes operating out of the Gaithersburg, MD terminal. This solo, local role offers a guaranteed weekly paycheck, modern equipment and the ability to be home every day. What We Offer $1,300 guaranteed weekly pay when you work 5 days Earning potential up to $1,800 per week ($0.70 – $0.75 per mile) Home daily Late-model automatic sleeper tractors Paid training, including assistance obtaining your doubles endorsement Preventive health insurance, plus dental and vision coverage 401(k) with a 3% company match after 6 months Paid time off, plus holiday pay when you work a holiday Schedule Night shift with dispatch between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM Monday through Saturday Key Responsibilities Operate a tractor-trailer safely on assigned overnight FedEx Ground routes Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections Keep accurate electronic logs and follow all DOT/FMCSA regulations Deliver freight on time and communicate proactively with dispatch Requirements Valid Class A CDL (doubles endorsement preferred; we will help you obtain it) 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years Clean driving record: no accidents or moving violations in the last 3 years 21 years of age or older with a valid DOT medical card No felonies or violent/drug-related misdemeanors in the last 10 years No at-fault fatal accidents Must pass a background check, MVR review, FMCSA Clearinghouse query and drug screen We welcome applications from bilingual candidates, military service members and veterans.
