Night Intermodal Driver | Fontana & Inland Empire | $1,400-$1,800/Week | Home Every Day Here's a plain look at this one, told the way a night in the cab actually goes. You clock in after dark, grab your truck at the San Bernardino yard, and start running containers on chassis across the Inland Empire, the Los Angeles area and up through the Grapevine. Stops include Long Beach, LA, Commerce, City of Industry, Bloomington and Shafter/Lebec. Most nights bring somewhere between 3 and 6 loads, a mix of live loads, live unloads, preloads and drop and hook. When your shift ends, you're home, with a full 10-hour break before the next one. The schedule is nights only, either Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday. Weekend work is part of the deal, and holiday work is optional, so you decide whether to take it. Now the pay. You earn $19.25 an hour plus $18.71 for every stop, which lands most drivers between $1,400 and $1,800 a week , roughly $72,800 to $93,600 a year. Since stops add up quickly on a 3 to 6 load night, a busy week shows in your check. What you'll need: A valid Class A CDL 6 months of OTR experience after training within the last 12 months, or 12 months in the past 5 years Willingness to take urine and hair follicle drug screening Hazmat is optional, so don't worry if you don't have it Background details come up later in the process, like any normal hiring step, so there's nothing to dig up before you apply. Medical, vision and dental coverage come with the job, along with paid time off and a 401(k) with company match. Want to be home every day and paid for every stop? Apply today.
