Night Asst manager

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and energetic Night Assistant Manager to join our retail team and ensure smooth store operations during evening hours. Responsibilities Supervise nightly store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and security protocols Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service during evening shifts Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing adjustments to optimize sales opportunities Oversee employee orientation, training, and development to ensure team members are knowledgeable about products and policies Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping, and POS (Point of Sale) system management accurately and efficiently Maintain operational standards by supervising cashiering activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing store cleanliness Skills Proven management experience in retail or similar customer-focused environments with supervisory responsibilities Strong negotiation skills with the ability to handle purchasing, pricing strategies, and conflict resolution effectively Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities preferred to serve diverse customer bases Demonstrated proficiency in retail math, basic bookkeeping, inventory management, and cash handling procedures Experience with POS systems, wireless sales technology, and operational management tools Leadership qualities with the ability to train staff, supervise teams, and foster a positive work environment Exceptional organizational skills with time management expertise to prioritize tasks efficiently during shift transitions Knowledge of retail industry sales techniques, merchandising practices, stock control, and customer service standards This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their managerial skills in a fast-paced retail setting.
