Role Description The NetSuite Functional Consultant – Finance and Supply Chain Management will lead and support NetSuite implementations, enhancements, and optimization initiatives for clients, focusing on core financials and supply chain processes. In this full-time, hybrid role based in Melville, NY, the consultant will work on-site with client and internal teams as needed, while also performing a portion of responsibilities remotely from home. Day-to-day tasks include gathering and analyzing business requirements, designing and configuring NetSuite modules, building workflows, and aligning system functionality with finance and supply chain operations. The consultant will collaborate with stakeholders to document processes, identify gaps, recommend improvements, and support testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization. Additional responsibilities include preparing functional documentation, delivering user training, providing ongoing advisory support, and contributing to continuous improvement and transformation roadmaps. Qualifications Strong analytical skills to interpret business requirements, diagnose process and system issues, and recommend practical solutions. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and present complex concepts clearly. Experience in business process analysis and design, with a focus on finance and supply chain workflows within ERP environments. Consulting skills, including client-facing experience, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive adoption of new systems and processes. Solid finance knowledge, such as GL, AP/AR, revenue, and financial reporting; familiarity with supply chain concepts (procurement, inventory, order management) is strongly preferred. Hands-on experience configuring and supporting NetSuite (or similar cloud ERP), especially finance and supply chain modules. Ability to work in a hybrid model in Melville, NY as needed, balancing onsite collaboration with independent remote work. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field; relevant certifications in NetSuite or ERP consulting are a plus. Comfort with continuous improvement approaches, change management, and delivering solutions that are practical, adopted, and sustainable.
