NEMT Driver / Medical Transportation Driver

Job Description Kandu Transport Services LLC is seeking reliable, compassionate, and professional Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Drivers to join our growing team. We provide safe, dependable transportation for patients traveling to dialysis treatments, medical appointments, rehabilitation centers, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities throughout Yolo County and surrounding communities. We strongly encourage EMTs, former ambulance drivers, and candidates with patient transportation experience to apply. Responsibilities Safely transport ambulatory and wheelchair passengers to and from medical appointments. Assist passengers with entering and exiting vehicles. Properly operate wheelchair lifts and secure mobility devices. Provide professional door-to-door assistance. Follow scheduled routes and communicate with dispatch. Complete vehicle inspections and maintain clean, safe vehicles. Maintain accurate trip documentation. Follow patient privacy, safety, and company procedures. Assist with early-morning dialysis transportation when scheduled. Qualifications Required: Valid California driver's license. Safe driving record. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to assist passengers with mobility limitations. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to safely perform the physical duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. Preferred: EMT certification or previous EMT experience. Ambulance or medical transportation experience. Wheelchair lift and securement experience. CPR/BLS certification. Experience transporting dialysis patients.
