NEMT Dispatch Manager – Experienced Candidates Only

Job Description Salute Medical Transportation is seeking an experienced NEMT Dispatch Manager to oversee daily dispatch operations, supervise dispatch personnel, coordinate drivers, and ensure transportation services run efficiently and on schedule. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT), and the ability to manage high-volume transportation operations in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily dispatch operations, scheduling, routing, and trip assignments. Supervise, train, and manage dispatch personnel while maintaining accountability and productivity. Monitor driver performance, trip completion, on-time pickups, and cancellations. Resolve scheduling conflicts, missed trips, driver shortages, and transportation delays. Ensure effective communication between dispatchers, drivers, brokers, and management. Coordinate route optimization to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs. Monitor dispatch performance and prepare daily and weekly operational reports. Ensure compliance with company policies, transportation requirements, and safety standards. Identify operational issues and implement solutions to improve overall performance. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of NEMT dispatch or related transportation operations experience. Minimum 2 years of dispatch supervisory or management experience. Strong knowledge of NEMT scheduling, routing, and transportation coordination. Experience managing dispatch teams and high-volume trip schedules. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask, make quick decisions, and perform under pressure. Proficiency with dispatch software, GPS systems, and Microsoft Excel. Experience working with Medicaid transportation brokers preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
