About the Opportunity: The NAVY LOGISTICS SPECIALIST role involves providing integrated product support through program management, engineering support, logistics coordination, and configuration management for Navy programs such as Littoral Combat Ship and various weapon systems. This position contributes by supporting schedule development, requirements analysis, technical reviews, and program documentation to ensure effective execution of Navy programs. Responsibilities: Provide program management support for Littoral Strike and Warfare programs. Perform organizational studies and systems engineering analysis to develop Integrated Master Schedules and requirements. Update and maintain engineering and project office calendars. Monitor and track program requirements, including support planning, schedules, and data calls. Analyze data and prepare recommendations for sponsors and fleet representatives. Develop presentations, schedules, white papers, strategies, execution plans, and program reviews. Plan, coordinate, and participate in meetings and conferences; collect and disseminate metric data. Support engineering activities related to hardware and software configuration control. Participate in design reviews, documentation updates, configuration management, peer reviews, and control board meetings. Perform and support configuration audits. Analyze and track engineering inputs and metrics related to performance and resource planning. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 3 years' experience or 6+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree. Experience with US Navy supply, configuration management, and provisioning disciplines. Basic understanding of program management principles, scheduling, and requirements tracking. Ability to synthesize technical information to support reporting and recommendations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance or currently holding one. Preferred: 8+ years supporting DoD, Navy, or engineering programs, familiarity with Navy programs and configuration management, and experience preparing technical documentation.
