Narrow Aisle Forklift Driver
Just Packaging, IncOverview We are seeking a dynamic and safety-conscious Narrow Aisle Forklift Driver to join our fast-paced warehouse team. In this vital role, you will operate specialized narrow aisle forklifts to efficiently move, load, and unload materials within tight storage environments. Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday through Friday Your expertise will ensure smooth warehouse distribution operations, accurate order picking, and safe handling of heavy equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a well-organized logistics process while working with state-of-the-art equipment and adhering to OSHA safety standards. Duties Operate narrow aisle forklifts, including reach trucks and Hi-Lo forklifts, to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse Perform precise order picking using <PERSON> pickers and other warehouse management system tools to fulfill customer orders efficiently Load and unload shipments safely using clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and forklift equipment while maintaining proper stacking techniques Conduct routine equipment repairs or report maintenance needs promptly to ensure optimal forklift performance and safety compliance Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying inventory accuracy and documenting movement in the warehouse management system Support warehouse distribution processes by organizing materials in designated storage areas and maintaining a clean, safe work environment Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize space utilization and improve overall warehouse workflow Skills Proven experience operating narrow aisle forklifts such as reach trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and clamp trucks in a busy warehouse setting Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing Familiarity with warehouse safety standards including OSHA regulations for heavy equipment operation Mechanical aptitude with basic repair skills for forklift maintenance and troubleshooting equipment issues Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently, including handling materials with pallet jacks or other manual tools Excellent understanding of shipping & receiving procedures, order picking processes, and materials handling techniques Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy Join our team as a Narrow Aisle Forklift Driver where your skills will directly impact our operational success!
