Challenge is #QualityDriven and #PeoplePowered! Who We Want: Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments. What You’ll Do: Understand and explain company’s quality policy Understand and explain all relevant quality policies, procedures, and work instructions. Participate in preventative actions where appropriate. Conduct corrective actions and preform problem solving analysis and reporting as required. Participate in needs analysis and attend and preform the requirements of scheduled training and educational programs. Conduct physical inventories of all product and operations as required. Works with customers on returnable containers maintenance. Prepares composite reports from individual reports of subordinates. When and Where: This will be a 2nd Shift / 4:00PM-2:30AM M-Thur position located at our Plant in Northlake, Texas . Occasionally, this may require you to arrive early, stay late, or work on weekends, outside of our regular hours, to ensure we successfully meet customer needs, deadlines, or urgent requests. What You Need to Have: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in materials, logistics, warehousing, inventory control, or supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment. Previous leadership or supervisory experience, including directing and developing hourly team members. Strong understanding of inventory management principles, production scheduling support, material flow, shipping and receiving operations, and warehouse management processes. Experience working within an automotive manufacturing environment preferred. Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and inventory tracking software. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word. Ability to analyze inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Knowledge of customer shipping requirements, returnable container management, and inventory reconciliation processes. Experience conducting cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory audits. Ability to communicate effectively with production, quality, maintenance, engineering, suppliers, and customers. Demonstrated problem-solving, decision-making, and continuous improvement skills. Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and inventory optimization techniques preferred. Knowledge of workplace safety requirements and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
