Responsibilities
• Develop, modify, and manage production schedules to meet business demands
• Evaluate purchase orders and create suitable production schedules based on material availability and production capacity
• Estimate the required materials, equipment, and labor to support efficient production processes
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure materials are consistent with production schedules
• Ensure production related issues are promptly captured within the production schedule and communicated to Supply Chain management Coordinate production operations in alignment with material, labor, and equipment availability
• Recommend solutions to reduce production costs, improve processes, and enhance product quality
• Adjust production schedules as needed to meet changing demands and deadlines
• Deliver regular updates on production progress in forums established to support Supply Chain Execution (via e-mail, scheduled meetings)
• Communicate schedule changes effectively to relevant departments to ensure alignment
• Manage inventory levels, track production volumes, and monitor customer demand patterns and purchasing trends
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure timely product delivery
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure materials sourced for production meet quality, specification, and cost-efficiency requirements
• Oversee the supply and delivery of materials and finished products
• Coordinate with suppliers, procurement, customer service, supply leads, quality, and logistics to maintain smooth supply chain operations
• Manage inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations effectively
• Accountable for SAP MRP data maintenance and daily system management
• Executes monthly close-out operations and leads the preparation of close-out reports and reconciliations
Skills
• 7+ years Business Industry Experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Strong understanding of planning principles, including capacity planning, demand management, and inventory control
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and manage multiple priorities
• To be considered for this position, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or visa transfer
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management
• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or other relevant certifications is a plus
• Experience as a Production/Material Planner
• Strong knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems and planning software
