Description: The MROS & Chemical Management Senior Specialist is responsible for the management, control, and optimization of Maintenance, Repair, Operations, and Supplies (MROS) inventory and chemical waste management/disposal supporting EPC Power's manufacturing operations. This role ensures maintenance technicians, facilities personnel, and production teams have timely access to critical consumables necessary to maintain operational uptime and support production goals, and the chemical waste is properly managed. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary owner of the MROS program, driving inventory accuracy, material availability, cost control, monitor/manage chemical waste disposal and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility. This role works closely with Manufacturing, Maintenance, Facilities, Supply Chain, EHS, and Purchasing teams. Requirements: MROS Inventory Management Manage all MROS inventory including spare parts, maintenance supplies, tooling, consumables, safety equipment, and indirect materials. Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP/MRP system. Receive, inspect, stock, issue, and track materials and equipment. Conduct cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliation activities. Monitor inventory levels and proactively identify replenishment requirements. Analyze inventory trends to optimize stock levels while minimizing excess inventory. Identify obsolete, slow-moving, and excess inventory and recommend corrective. Chemical Waste Management & Disposal Monitor and inspect the chemical waste collection drums on a daily basis. Replace full chemical waste drums with empty containers as needed. Transport full drums to the designated waste storage area, package materials appropriately and coordinate pickups with Safety-Kleen for proper disposal. Collect empty chemical cans, transport them to the waste storage area, stage them for proper ventilation and drying before being packaged for disposal. Establish and maintain spill response containers in designated areas throughout the facility. Conduct routine inspections of spill kits and replenish supplies as needed to ensure readiness and compliance. Maintain proper organization and housekeeping standards within designated waste storage areas. Ensure all waste handling activities comply with company environmental, health, and safety requirements. Support preventive maintenance initiatives through proper management of maintenance-related inventory. Work closely with Maintenance teams to forecast future MROS requirements. Purchasing & Supplier Coordination Partner with Purchasing and Supply Chain teams to support MROS procurement activities. Assist with supplier communications regarding lead times, deliveries, shortages, and quality concerns. Monitor supplier performance related to delivery and material availability. Expedite critical orders as needed to support manufacturing operations. Continuous Improvement Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and inventory optimization initiatives. Develop and maintain visual inventory controls and organized storage systems. Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions. Recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency, inventory accuracy, and material flow. Generate inventory, usage, and spend reports to support decision-making and cost-reduction initiatives. Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with company policies, inventory control procedures, and safety regulations.
