Moving Helper / Packer — As-Needed Work All Packed Up USA is a family-owned moving company looking for dependable helpers with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. We value people who show up on time, care for customers’ belongings, and work well with others. We primarily serve Coral Springs, Parkland, Pompano Beach, Fort Lauderdale, other Broward County communities, and Boca Raton . Some jobs also take us to Miami and West Palm Beach. Moving experience is preferred but not required. On-the-job training is available for someone who listens, accepts feedback, and takes pride in doing the job well. Pay and Schedule Starting pay: $18 per hour As-needed work, estimated at 5–20 hours per week , depending on customer bookings Weekly hours and ongoing work are not guaranteed Availability for moving jobs on weekdays and weekends Job opportunities are shared as early as possible—often several days to a week ahead. Shorter-notice opportunities may arise. Your availability, meeting location, and job details are confirmed before each move. Start times and job lengths vary. Some moves may involve longer days. What You’ll Do Wrap and protect furniture and household belongings Load and unload moving trucks carefully Pack boxes and unpack items as needed Help assemble and disassemble furniture Use dollies, hand trucks, and other moving equipment safely Follow instructions and coordinate with the crew Treat customers, their homes, their belongings, and your teammates with respect What We’re Looking For At least 18 years old Punctual and dependable for confirmed jobs A positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to accept coaching, receive feedback, and follow directions Careful handling of customers’ belongings Friendly, professional customer service Clear communication and a team-first attitude Reliable transportation to the assigned meeting location Depending on the job, you will meet at our warehouse or travel directly to the customer’s location. Meeting details will be communicated before each job. This is a moving helper position. Driving moving trucks is not part of the role. Physical Demands and Safety Moving is physically demanding. The work involves standing, walking, bending, reaching, carrying items, and loading and unloading. Jobs may involve stairs, outdoor work in South Florida heat, and occasional long days. You will handle items weighing up to approximately 50 pounds, with assistance as needed , and help move heavier or bulky furniture using team lifting, dollies, hand trucks, and other appropriate equipment . Helpers are expected to request assistance whenever an item cannot be handled safely. Heavy or awkward furniture should not be lifted alone.
