Moving helper

Overview Join the moving team as a Moving Helper and keep each delivery running smoothly. You’ll help load, transport, and unload items while treating customers’ belongings and homes with care. This hands-on role suits someone who enjoys active work, teamwork, and customer service. Duties Load and unload furniture, boxes, and other materials; use safe lifting practices and follow workplace weight-handling procedures. Support moving and delivery driving, including route driving in a van or box truck; assist with personal vehicle delivery when assigned. Use a pallet jack and other material-handling equipment safely during warehouse operations. Follow traffic regulations and applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements while supporting commercial truck driving. Use mobile devices to review delivery details and communicate updates; provide courteous customer service at each stop. Your impact: Careful handling and dependable delivery help customers move their belongings safely and with less disruption. Experience Manual handling, heavy lifting, and moving experience are useful; warehouse experience and familiarity with warehouse operations are preferred. Delivery driver, delivery driving, courier, or van driver experience is helpful. Commercial driving, commercial truck driving, and box truck experience are preferred. Ability to drive safely, including a manual transmission where required, and follow traffic regulations. Experience operating a pallet jack or other material-handling equipment is an asset. Willingness to learn assigned procedures and work as part of a team; follow safe lifting practices and DOT regulations as applicable.
