Moving Company hiring a Box truck driver and Mover

A reputable, local moving company is seeking a reliable, hardworking Box Truck Driver / Mover to join our team immediately. If you have experience driving large trucks but are new to the moving industry, we welcome your application! We provide full training on professional moving techniques for candidates who possess a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and excellent problem-solving skills.Key Responsibilities Safely drive and operate a 26ft cargo/box truck equipped with a liftgate. Assist with moving operations , including lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading furniture and household goods. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional attitude on the job site. Be friendly Collaborate effectively with the moving crew to ensure safe and efficient transitions. Job Requirements Driving Experience: Minimum 2 years of documented experience driving a 26ft box truck (Essential). Driver's License: Valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record (No accidents or traffic tickets within the last 3 years). Age: Must be 21 years of age or older. Physical Demands: Must be physically and mentally fit, with the ability to constantly lift and carry items weighing over 50 lbs. Communication: Able to read, write, and speak English fluently to handle written invoices, work orders, and customer job descriptions. Spanish is plus Work Ethic: A strong team player with a problem-solving mindset. Background Check: Must agree to a standard background check upon hire. Substance Policy: Strict zero-tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol (before, during, and after shifts). Experience Box truck driving: 2 years (Required) Moving industry experience: Preferred but not required (we will train the right candidate!) Pay: From $22.00 per hour Work Location: In person
