Mover/packer/junk remover

Job Overview We are seeking energetic and reliable Movers, Packers, and Junk Removers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently loading, unloading, packing, and removing unwanted items from residential and commercial spaces. Your positive attitude and strong work ethic will help ensure a smooth moving or junk removal process, providing exceptional service to our customers. Duties Safely load and unload furniture, appliances, boxes, and other items using proper manual handling techniques Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies to move heavy or bulky items efficiently Pack belongings securely to prevent damage during transport and assist with disassembly or reassembly of furniture when needed Remove junk or unwanted items from residential or commercial properties in an organized manner Drive box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles following designated routes while adhering to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Assist with warehouse operations including inventory management, sorting, and staging items for pickup or delivery Communicate professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any special instructions or concerns Requirements Previous warehouse experience or moving/junk removal background preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Valid driver’s license with experience operating commercial trucks, box trucks, or vans; commercial driving experience is a plus Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects safely while following safe lifting practices Knowledge of traffic laws and adherence to DOT regulations during route driving Experience with delivery driving using mobile devices for navigation and documentation purposes Familiarity with material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or dollies; certification is advantageous Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards at all timesJoin our team today if you thrive on physical activity, enjoy helping people move forward in their lives, and are committed to safety and excellent service!
