Mover/Packer/crew lead

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and reliable Mover/Packer/Crew Lead to join our True South dynamic moving team. You can be a mover and advance into a crew boss position. In this role, you will be responsible for packing, loading, unloading, and transporting customer belongings safely and efficiently. As a crew lead, you will also oversee team members, coordinate moving tasks, and ensure exceptional customer service throughout every move. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team while delivering top-notch moving solutions with enthusiasm and professionalism. All positions are paid, emphasizing the importance of valuing your skills and contributions from day one. Responsibilities Work with a team of movers and packers to execute residential or commercial moves with precision and care Pack items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit Load and unload trucks efficiently, utilizing equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, forklifts, and manual tools Assist with heavy lifting tasks to ensure safe handling of furniture and equipment Maintain a high level of customer service by communicating clearly and professionally with clients during the move process Ensure all safety protocols are followed during loading, unloading, and transportation activities Qualifications Prior experience in moving, warehouse work, or delivery driving is highly preferred Demonstrated ability in heavy lifting, manual labor, or similar physically demanding roles If a crew boss- Valid driver’s license with experience operating box trucks or commercial vehicles Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus For crew boss- Experience in route driving or courier services is advantageous Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor For crew boss- Ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of a motivated team that values hard work, safety, and excellent service.
