Mover/Packer

Duties Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and other household or office items using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary Assist customers with packing, wrapping, and securing belongings to prevent damage during transit Operate various types of vehicles including box trucks and cargo vans with manual transmissions for route driving and deliveries Drive courteously and responsibly as a professional courier or delivery driver, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Coordinate with team members to plan efficient routes for timely pickups and deliveries Use manual handling equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts to move heavy or bulky items within warehouses or loading docks Load items onto trucks in an organized manner to optimize space and ensure safe transportation Unload items at the destination, carefully placing them in designated areas while maintaining customer satisfaction through friendly service Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and inventory movements for record-keeping purposes Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery details and address any special handling instructions Experience Prior experience in moving services or warehouse environments is highly desirable Demonstrated ability in customer service roles, providing friendly and professional interactions with clients Proven experience operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks or similar cargo vehicles with manual transmissions Familiarity with driving routes and delivery procedures as a courier or delivery driver Hands-on experience with heavy lifting, loading/unloading procedures, and the use of equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts Knowledge of safety protocols related to moving operations and vehicle operation Ability to perform physically demanding tasks consistently while maintaining attention to detail Valid driver’s license suitable for commercial driving; CDL license is a plus but not mandatory Join us in delivering seamless moving experiences by combining your physical strength, driving skills, and customer service expertise.
