Responsibilities Safely load and unload items using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and box trucks Pack, organize, and secure belongings for transport, ensuring items are protected during transit Operate commercial trucks and vans in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws Assist with warehouse operations including inventory management and material movement using appropriate equipment Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently, adhering to safe lifting practices and weight handling guidelines Drive route deliveries using personal or company-provided vehicles, ensuring timely arrivals and excellent customer service Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and inventory movements via mobile devices or other digital tools Requirements Proven warehouse experience with knowledge of manual handling, heavy lifting, and safe lifting practices Valid driver’s license with experience in commercial truck driving or van/delivery driving; familiarity with box trucks preferred Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or similar devices Ability to adhere strictly to traffic regulations, DOT standards, and safety protocols during driving and loading activities Strong physical stamina for manual lifting, moving heavy items, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts Customer service-oriented mindset with clear communication skills when interacting with clients during deliveries or pickups Reliable personal vehicle for delivery tasks if required; willingness to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings if necessary This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to build a career in logistics, moving services, or warehouse operations.
