Mover/Packer

Overview As a Mover/Packer, you’ll help customers prepare, move, and receive their belongings with care. You’ll pack items securely, load and unload vehicles, and support deliveries using safe manual handling and clear communication. Your impact: Careful packing and handling help customers receive their belongings safely and with less stress. Residential and commercial moves, installs. Contracted with United Van lines. Duties Pack, label, load, and unload household or commercial items; use safe lifting practices when handling heavy or awkward loads. Support moving, warehouse operations, and material handling, including operating a pallet jack and other material handling equipment when qualified. Drive assigned vans or box trucks on delivery and route-driving assignments; follow traffic regulations and use mobile devices as directed for routes and delivery updates. Provide courteous customer service during pickups, moves, and deliveries, including personal vehicle delivery or courier tasks when assigned. Secure loads and follow applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and workplace weight-handling procedures. Experience Moving, delivery driver, delivery driving, courier, van driver, or warehouse experience is helpful. Ability to perform manual handling, including heavy lifting, and follow safe lifting practices. Comfortable driving, loading and unloading, using mobile devices, and working with warehouse equipment such as a pallet jack. Demonstrated care for customers, belongings, and safe work practices. Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
