Mover/Packer

In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely handling, packing, loading, and unloading items with precision and care. Your efforts will ensure smooth operations during moving and delivery processes, contributing to a positive customer experience. This position offers an engaging environment where physical activity and teamwork are key to success. All positions are paid, emphasizing the importance of your contribution from day one. Duties Safely load and unload goods using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit, following proper lifting practices and weight handling procedures Assist with moving furniture, boxes, and equipment within storage facilities or customer location. Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure placement Skills Valid driver’s license. Experience with commercial truck driving preferred Experience with delivery driving using personal or company vehicles, including box trucks or vans preferred Strong understanding of safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and manual handling safety protocols Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude during deliveries and interactions Familiarity with mobile devices for route navigation, documentation, or communication purpose Qualifications : Reliable transportation This position requires daily travel to various job sites including, primarily, the Southern I-44 corridor; may require some overnight travel as well Previous mover/packer experience preferred but not required; on the job training provided Paid daily; This work is considered an independent contractor - you receive a 1099 for tax purposes Looking for people who want to work hard, make an honest living and learn while growing with our small group.
