Mover/Packer

Job Overview As a Mover/Packer, you’ll help customers move their belongings safely and efficiently. You’ll pack, load, transport, and unload items while keeping shipments organized and providing courteous service. This hands-on role calls for safe lifting, careful driving, and teamwork in warehouse and delivery settings. Duties Pack, label, load, and unload household or commercial items; use safe manual handling and lifting practices, including when handling heavy items. Support warehouse operations by organizing shipments and using material handling equipment such as a pallet jack, following workplace weight-handling procedures. Drive a van or box truck on assigned routes; complete delivery driving, route driving, and courier tasks, including personal vehicle delivery when assigned. Follow traffic regulations and applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations; operate manual-transmission vehicles when required. Use mobile devices to confirm routes and delivery details, communicate updates, and provide attentive customer service. Your impact: Careful packing and safe delivery help customers receive their belongings in good condition and with less disruption. Skills Required: Ability to perform moving, manual handling, loading, and unloading tasks safely, including heavy lifting. Preferred: Warehouse experience, warehouse operations, and material handling equipment operation. Preferred: Delivery driver experience, van driver, courier, commercial driving, commercial truck driving, box truck, or personal vehicle delivery experience. Ability to drive responsibly, follow routes, and adhere to traffic regulations; manual transmission experience is helpful. Familiarity with safe lifting practices, workplace weight-handling procedures, mobile devices, and DOT regulations is an asset.
