Mover/Packer

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Mover/Packer to join our team. This role involves assisting with the safe and efficient moving of items, primarily focusing on commercial relocations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for packing, loading, and transporting goods, ensuring all items are handled with care and professionalism. Additionally, this position requires the ability to operate commercial trucks for transportation purposes. Candidates should be prepared to work in a dynamic environment, providing excellent service to clients during their moving process. Duties Assist with packing and unpacking items securely to prevent damage during transit Load and unload furniture, boxes, and equipment onto trucks with proper handling techniques Safely operate commercial trucks for local or long-distance moves as required Ensure all items are transported safely and efficiently to their destination Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving equipment and trucks Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries during moving operations Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate moving activities Assist in planning the logistics of each move to optimize efficiency Skills Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy items repeatedly throughout the day Basic knowledge of commercial truck operation (driver’s license required) Excellent teamwork and communication skills Attention to detail to ensure items are packed securely and transported safely Ability to follow instructions carefully and adhere to safety guidelines Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or moving requirements Reliable work ethic with a focus on punctuality and professionalism This position offers an engaging opportunity for individuals interested in hands-on work within the moving industry, emphasizing safety, efficiency, and customer service.
