Mover/Packer

Duties Safely pack and prepare items for transport, ensuring protection during transit Load and unload furniture, boxes, and equipment using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or dollies Operate box trucks, vans, or other commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws Assist with the movement of goods within warehouse operations using appropriate manual handling practices Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently while maintaining safe lifting practices to prevent injury Deliver items directly to customers’ locations using personal or company-provided vehicles, ensuring timely arrivals Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and inventory movements using mobile devices or delivery logs Requirements Proven warehouse experience or moving background with familiarity in material handling and heavy lifting Valid driver’s license with experience driving box trucks, vans, or similar commercial vehicles; commercial truck driving experience is a plus Experience with delivery driving, route planning, and adhering to traffic regulations for safe transportation Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, load & unload procedures, and safe lifting practices Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial vehicle operation and weight handling in the workplace Comfortable operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or carts in warehouse settings Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude during deliveries and interactions with clients Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments requiring physical activity and attention to safety standards Embark on a rewarding career where your energy makes a difference!
