Professional MoversJob Summary We are seeking a dependable Mover/Packer to help safely pack, load, transport, and unload household or commercial belongings. This hands-on role involves working with a team, handling items of varying sizes, and providing courteous, professional service throughout each move. Training and opportunities to build experience in moving and warehouse operations may be available. Duties Pack, wrap, label, and protect furniture, equipment, and other items for transport. Load and unload moving vehicles while using safe lifting and handling practices. Move items between homes, businesses, vehicles, and storage areas. Secure cargo to help prevent shifting or damage during transport. Assist with inventory checks and follow instructions for handling fragile or specialty items. Maintain clean, organized work areas and moving equipment. Communicate clearly with team members and customers, respond courteously to questions, and help address service needs. Follow workplace safety procedures and report damaged items, hazards, or equipment concerns promptly. When qualified and authorized, operate a forklift or other material-handling equipment. Skills Moving: Interest or experience in packing, loading, unloading, or relocation work. Heavy lifting: Ability to perform physical work, including lifting and carrying items, using proper techniques and team assistance as needed. Customer service: A courteous, professional approach when interacting with customers. Communication skills: Ability to understand instructions and communicate clearly with coworkers and customers. Warehouse experience: Helpful experience organizing, handling, or moving goods in a warehouse or storage setting. Commercial driving: Commercial driving experience or appropriate licensing is a plus for roles that involve driving. Dependability, teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to safe work practices. Pay: $19.00-$30.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule Flextime On-site parking Work Location: In person
