YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN RELIABLE VEHICLE TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION. Movers will be responsible for transporting themselves and their assigned moving partner to scheduled job locations. Most customer appointments begin between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM, although start times may vary. We are looking for individuals who take their work seriously, communicate consistently, follow instructions, and complete every accepted assignment professionally. This is primarily a labor-only moving position. Customers typically provide their own moving trucks. Hourly Pay Breakdown $20 Per Hour 2 hours worked = $40 3 hours worked = $60 4 hours worked = $80 5 hours worked = $100 6 hours worked = $120 7 hours worked = $140 8 hours worked = $160 Pay is based on actual hours worked. Assignments vary depending on customer bookings. Tips received directly from customers belong to the movers, subject to applicable law. Job Responsibilities Load and unload moving trucks, trailers, storage units, apartments, houses, and commercial properties. Safely move furniture, appliances, boxes, and household belongings. Properly load and organize 10–26 ft moving trucks. Protect customers’ furniture, walls, floors, and doorways. Navigate stairs, elevators, basements, and tight spaces. Disassemble and reassemble furniture when required. Follow customer instructions and company dispatch procedures. Contact customers when en route and verify job addresses. Communicate arrival times, job progress, and completion times to management. Immediately report delays, damages, and unexpected situations. Obtain and submit customer payment confirmation codes when required. Complete accepted assignments unless management authorizes otherwise. Mandatory Qualifications Must have your own reliable vehicle. Must be able to transport yourself and your assigned moving partner. Must have a working cellphone with calling, texting, and GPS. Must have previous moving or furniture-handling experience. Must be able to repeatedly lift and carry 50–75 pounds safely. Must be dependable, punctual, and professional. Must be available for weekend assignments. Must be available for jobs typically beginning at 8:00 AM or 9:00 AM. Must communicate promptly with dispatch. Must be comfortable working with different moving partners when necessary. Have a Moving Partner? If you already have someone you work well with who has moving experience but does not have their own transportation, feel free to mention that during your interview. We are open to considering established moving teams. All additional movers must complete our application and approval process before receiving assignments. Unauthorized substitutes or additional workers are not permitted. Attendance & Communication Expectations Communication and reliability are extremely important to our company. Respond to scheduling messages within one hour, even if unavailable. Confirm accepted assignments promptly. Reconfirm scheduled jobs the morning of service. Communicate approximately one hour before arrival. Immediately report emergencies, delays, or scheduling conflicts. Arrive at every job on time and prepared to work. Never abandon a job or leave an assignment unfinished without management authorization. Never send someone else to complete your assignment. Never bring unauthorized workers or passengers. Repeated failure to communicate, lateness, last-minute cancellations, or no-call/no-show incidents may result in disciplinary action or termination.
