Responsibilities Safely load and unload items using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies Pack belongings securely to prevent damage during transit, adhering to safe lifting practices and weight handling guidelines Operate various delivery vehicles including box trucks and vans, ensuring compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws Assist with warehouse operations by organizing inventory, managing storage spaces, and maintaining cleanliness Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and manual transmission operation Deliver items directly to customers’ locations, providing excellent customer service throughout the process Requirements At least 1 year moving experience is required Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following safe lifting practices and manual handling standards Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or similar tools is a plus Strong physical stamina for manual handling tasks including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling heavy items Customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients during moves or deliveries Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: Paid training Work Location: In person
