Mover/Helper

Overview As a Mover/Helper, you’ll help customers receive their items safely and on schedule. You’ll load, unload, move, and deliver goods while supporting drivers and keeping each delivery organized. Your impact: Careful handling and courteous customer service help protect customers’ belongings and make deliveries smoother. Responsibilities Load and unload items, using safe lifting practices and appropriate material handling equipment, including a pallet jack. Move and position goods while following workplace weight-handling procedures and preventing damage. Support delivery driving and route driving in a van or box truck; use mobile devices to review delivery details and routes. Assist with personal vehicle delivery or courier tasks when assigned, and communicate professionally with customers. Follow traffic regulations and applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements during work-related driving. Requirements Ability to perform manual handling and heavy lifting safely, with attention to proper lifting techniques. Customer service skills and a dependable, safety-focused approach to moving and delivery work. Warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is helpful; experience operating material handling equipment is preferred. Delivery driver, van driver, courier, or other delivery driving experience is preferred. Commercial driving, commercial truck driving, box truck experience, and a manual transmission license or experience are helpful; a valid license appropriate to assigned vehicles is required.
